Dr. Christy Cullen, DVM

Dr. Christy Cullen is an equine veterinarian that focuses on sports medicine for all levels of equine athletes. She has served central New England for over 15 years, working at Fairfield Equine, Massachusetts Equine Clinic and Essex Equine.

Dr. Cullen started C3 Equine Veterinary Services, LLC in 2022 to provide relatable and specialized care to the equine athlete with the goal of strengthening their performance and their partnership with their owners.

She is the mother of two wonderful children and is often seen with her two rough collies, Franky and Ava. An avid Dressage rider, Dr. Cullen has earned her USDF bronze medal and enjoys showing her young Lusitano mare, Quiara CL.

Lucy McNamara, Vet Tech

A Massachusetts native, Lucy discovered the love of horses at an early age. She began riding in a local Eventing barn and has never looked back, showing multiple horses successfully in all three phases.

After working at a rehabilitation farm, she became interested in pursuing a career in the equine veterinary field and joined Dr. Cullen in 2019. Learning about all aspects of horse care is Lucy’s passion and she enjoys sharing this passion with others, often teaching clients the finer points of bandaging and medicine administration.

When not working around horses, she is riding them. She enjoys bringing along young horses and showing her Thoroughbred mare, Tiz Gossip aka Maizey.

Tina Egan, Front Office

Tina Egan has been working in the equine veterinary field since 2000. She began her career as a veterinary technician and, through dedication and experience, transitioned into practice management in 2005. With more than two decades of expertise, Tina brings a wealth of knowledge and organization to C3 Equine, ensuring both clients and their horses receive exceptional support and care.

Outside of work, Tina enjoys gardening and often sells her homegrown vegetables at local farmers markets. She lives in Douglas with her husband and their Australian Shepherd, Autumn. In her free time, Tina enjoys traveling, riding her bicycle, and is an avid chef often found experimenting in the kitchen.
