Kari Jones

Practice manager

Kari comes to C3 Equine with over 20 years of experience in the equine veterinary medicine field. She started her horse journey at 13 at the local lesson barn in town, learning driving and riding. She continued to pursue her equine career at the University of Connecticut and expanded into full facility management and veterinary education. While in her classes, she met an overly tall pre-vet student named Christy Coulson.

After graduation, Kari worked at Fairfield Equine as an ambulatory technician working on high-level sport horses and spending winters in Wellington, FL at WEF. She then ran into Dr. Christy (Coulson) Cullen again as Dr. Cullen pursued her veterinary dream interning at Fairfield Equine. After 8 years at Fairfield, Kari moved to MA to work for North Bridge Equine Associates, both as a veterinary technician and a practice manager.

Kari is excited to bring her vast knowledge and passionate energy to C3 Equine and it’s pretty fun to be reunited with an amazing colleague and friend! She lives with her husband and two sons, along with her beloved Teddy dog, his canine sister Annabelle, two cats, and two retired equines.

Lucy McNamara

Veterinary Technician

A Massachusetts native, Lucy discovered the love of horses at an early age. She began riding in a local Eventing barn and has never looked back, showing multiple horses successfully in all three phases.

After working at a rehabilitation farm, she became interested in pursuing a career in the equine veterinary field and joined Dr. Cullen in 2019. Learning about all aspects of horse care is Lucy’s passion and she enjoys sharing this passion with others, often teaching clients the finer points of bandaging and medicine administration.

When not working around horses, she is riding them. She enjoys bringing along young horses and showing her Thoroughbred mare, Tiz Gossip aka Maizey.
